Jagan attack case: NIA gets 7-day custody of accused, Srinivas Rao
National Investigation Agency (NIA) that has taken over the case of knife-attack on YSRCP chief, Jagan, transferred the accused, Srinivas Rao from Vizag to Vijayawada. They produced him in the NIA special court today. The court handed him over to seven days custody to NIA. It directed the Agency to submit a medical report once in every three days. The inquiry should go on in the presence of the lawyer for the accused, the court said. It also told the Agency not to use third degree against Srinivas.
