Centre extends Parl. session by one day; Oppn. cries foul
The entire Opposition in Rajya Sabha began protesting outside the House, as the Central Government decided to extend Parliament session by a day. Vice President, Venkaiah Naidu, while adjourning the House for a day, said that it will meet again tomorrow at 11 a.m. This is being opposed as their opinion was not taken. They said that he cannot do it without consulting the members. The discussion is on the 10 per cent reservations for economically backward classes and today is the last day of this session.
