Andhra Pradesh coastal districts are likely to hit the cyclone Pethai. According to the reports, the cyclone is concentric at a distance of 640km away from Machilipatnam beach and it is likely to reach Kakinada and other coastal districts. The cyclone is moving at a speed of 17km per hour and it led to the strong winds followed by the rainfalls. Coastal districts are likely to receive heavy rainfall in coming hours due to the impact of this cyclone.
