Kushboo is a popular film actress, producer and television presenter, In the films, she has acted in more than 200 movies. She is predominantly known for her work in the South Indian film industry. Khushbu joined the Congress on 26 November 2014 after meeting with then Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, and then Vice-President Rahul Gandhi. She is currently the National Spokesperson of the INC. Earlier, she joined the DMK on 14 May 2010 and quit the party on 16 June 2014. In an interview with a programme of 'Open Heart With RK', Kushboo has shared her film and political journey till her role as star campaigner for Telangana Congress.
