CPI firm on contesting 5 Assembly seats
The CPI expressed unhappiness over Congress for allocating 3 Assembly seats. Party’s State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy and another senior leader Kunamneni Venkateswara Rao have met CLP leader Jana Reddy, Telangana TDP President L Ramana and TJS chief Kodandaram and held talks with them over seat sharing and injustice is being done to the CPI in the alliance. Chada demanded that the Congress should allocate Kothagudem and Huzurabad Assembly constituencies. Kodandaram asked Congress to give clarity on seat sharing as delay will create confusion.
