The MIM wants to contest few more Assembly seats other than the seats won by the party in 2014. MIM had won 7 Assembly seats in 2014 elections. The TRS had agreed not to field its candidate in Charminar and to field party’s dummy candidates in the remaining 6 Assembly seats. The MIM is keen to contest from Jubilee Hills, Rajendra Nagar and Amberpet as these constituencies have a large number of Muslim votes. But, the TRS is against the proposal of the MIM. Even, MIM wants to contest either from Bodhan or Nizamabad Urban Assembly segment.
