Diwali is being celebrated on a grand scale in Andhra Pradesh (AP). However, the high price of firecrackers is dampening the spirits. Supreme Court (SC) has allowed a restrict bursting of crackers, within two hours from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Diwali day. Shops selling crackers in Vijayawada were overcrowded, with young and old buying crackers. While the exhorbitant price shocked some, others demanded that something has to be done about it. On Vizag beach road, the limit on timings to burst crackers is causing some disappointment in some youngsters.
