Andhra Pradesh state government has decided to go ahead working for the Visakhapatnam Metro Rail project after Centre fails to implement the State Re-Organization Act and ignores the concerns of the state people. The state government which has already announced the bidding process for the project launch will make its bidding stand clear on December 27th. The project will be initiated with a Public-Private Partnership with a cost of Rs 8300 crores. Rs 4200 crore is likely to be borrowed for this prestigious project. Five Indian firms have submitted bids for the said project, it is learned.
