Chandrababu met National Conference chief, Farooq Abdullah and Bahujana Samaj Party (BSP) chief, Mayawati, at New Delhi today. Addressing a press meet, he described how the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Centre is 'threatening' regional parties and state leaders, with its policies. Not just destroying all institutions, BJP is trying to subvert democratically elected governments, he said. To protect democracy and diversity of the nation, it has been decided to develop a consensus with all like-minded parties, Chandrababu said. He described how the Jagan attack incident was blown up to blame Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
