Rafale deal: Dassault denies journal's claim of Reliance being govt pick

Dassault Aviation has hit back at French Journal, Mediapart, over their claim that the alliance with Anil Ambani was a trade-off for the Rafale contract, saying that they were free to choose a partner in the Rafale deal. Dassault has clarified that they signed a partnership with other companies too along with Reliance Defence. Mediapart has reported that they have accessed a document that says Dassault picking Anil Ambani's Reliance Defence as the offset partner in India was mandatory for the Rafale deal.
