Tamil devotees attack constable at Mantralayam

Around 10 Tamil devotees created hulchul at Manthralayam pilgrim centre, in Kurnool district. They tried to steal in a toy shop. When the shop owner began questioning them, a police constable who witnessed the incident, intervened. Immediately, the group of Tamil devotees pounced on him. When he tried to run away, they chased him and hit him. Locals caught the culprits and handed them over to the police, who registered the case and took up investigation. The culprits were taken into custody.
