Journalist Diary: No real journos five years from now!

Media is usually referred to as the Fourth Estate, the other three being Legislature, Executive and Judiciary. While the first three are running strong, specially where independence of functioning is concerned, the last is under the threat of dying a silent death. Ever since journalism became a means to earning a few bucks, many corporates have grabbed the newspapers and TV channels as a means to pound their competitors and political opponents. Hardly any channel or newspaper exists that can express its independent views.
