Left parties observe bandh in Guntur; petrol price hike
In response to a call given by an all-party committee against rising petrol and diesel rates, activists of Communist Party of India (CPI), led by Andhra Pradesh (AP) leader, Ramakrishna, observed Bharat Bandh at Guntur, in Andhra Pradesh (AP). They came in a huge rally, raising slogans and holding flags and sat in protest at the local RTC depot. It is a shame that prices of fuel has been hiked, clearly putting the burden on the common man, Ramakrishna said. He demanded that the prices be controlled immediately.
