Indian Coast Guard ADG, V.S.R. Murthy explains about rescue ops in Kerala

Indian Coast Guard Additional Director General, V.S.R. Murthy explained about the rescue and relief operations being undertaken in the devastating floods in Kerala. The first information that they had regarding the need for help from Kerala state government was on July 31st, he said. Since then, the Coast Guard, whose motto is 'We will protect,' has deployed all its resources in rescue and relief operations in the flood-ravaged state. The operations will continue until the floods recede and the people are safe, Murthy said.
