Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi has conducted aerial survey of flood-hit Kerala state, along with it's Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan. After announcing a sum of Rs. 500 crores as aid to the state, Modi directed the officials to carrying out swift relief operations like distributing food and water and evacuating people. Meanwhile, relief operations are in full swing in the state that is struck by the worse floods of the century. Some 43 teams of National Disaster Relief Forces (NDRF) are working tirelessly in providing relief measures, besides the Armed Forces.
