USA: 5 killed as light aircraft crashes into California car park

Five people were killed as a light twin-engine Cessna aircraft crashed into a car park in Southern California's Santa Ana on Sunday. According to local Federal Aviation authorities, the pilot of the light aircraft declared an emergency landing about a mile (1.6 km) from the nearby John Wayne Airport in Orange County, before crashing into the car park of a Staples store and CVS pharmacy. All five people were on board killed and the cause of the crash is being investigated by the authorities concerned.
