Former Pakistani premier Nawaz Sharif, who was lodged in jail earlier this month over corruption charges that emerged in the wake of Panama Papers revelations, has been shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad. The panel of doctors has suggested the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party chief to take the Islamabad Hospital as his heartbeat was not normal. A huge number of Nawaz Sharif's supporters have gathered the Hospital. Nawaz Sharif lost an election in last week to rival Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led by former cricket hero Imran Khan.
