The Center has submitted a controversial affidavit to the Supreme Court over the Andhra Pradesh Bifurcation promises. In the affidavit, apart from the distribution of assets of educational institutions between the two Telugu states, the centre has presented the unclear report on Visakhapatnam Railway Zone unlike Home Minister Rajnath Singh's announcement in the Parliament. The Center in the affidavit has made it clear that Metro Rail prospects in Vijayawada are possible only when it will meet the requirement of Metro Policy. The Home Ministry has also alleged that the dispute between the two Telugu states continues over state division assets. On the other hand, the people of the Visakhapatnam have expressed their anger against the Center over their dual stand on the Railway zone.
