Floating island, mini tank bund attract visitors to Ibrahimbagh lake

Ibrahimbagh lake, in Nekrampur of Ranga Reddy district, was polluted, full of garbage and animal remains in contaminated water and stinking, leading to the locals complaining of constant ill-health. Now, the scene is entirely different. In the wake of Devansh voluntary organisation adopting the lake and beautifying the area, with Hyderabad Metro Development Authority (HMDA) funds, the lake surroundings have taken a picturesque look. They cleaned the lake, planted trees and set up a floating island in the centre, leading to healthy and beautiful environment.
