Three members of the notorious Cheddi Gang of thieves have been nabbed by Hyderabad Rachakonda police, at Dahod in Gujarat. The gang had spread fear among several areas in Hyderabad as well as in some places in Andhra Pradesh (AP), through their buglaries. They are notorious for wearing only underclothes and breaking into houses in gangs of five to eight members, threatening the inmates and looting them. They carry arms and are known to be merciless. Hyderabad Police teams were sent to Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, following thefts in the city.
