NEET: 507 students with ‘0’ marks in physics, chemistry get MBBS seats

In a shocking report that has come to light, it was found that 530 students secured single-digit marks, zero or negative scores in physics and chemistry or both. Out of the 530, 507 candidates were admitted into private medical colleges. As NEET exam does not specify the minimum marks one must score in each paper. The report concluded that students, who could afford Rs 17 lakh per annum found their way into private medical colleges despite securing negligible marks in NEET.
