Facebook's Facial Recognition Technology Sparks Privacy Concerns
Facebook is facing backlash for introducing facial recognition from European users. Earlier, Facebook management told to European users that its face recognition technology allows to protect them from strangers using their phone impersonate them. Many critics, including European Parliament member Vivian said if your Facebook is trying to manipulate them into consenting the service by promoting identity promotion tool. New York Times has called move as risky since 6 years ago, the technology was activated after regulators questioned.
