Telangana Chief Minister KCR has warned the media channels over the issues pertaining to objectionable speeches, making inflammatory speeches against the religions. The Chief Minister has made it clear that not only the political leaders will face the legal action due to their provocative speeches but the media channels will also face the same legal action if they broadcast the same provocative speeches made by political leaders. Telangana government has reportedly intimated the same to the owners of the media channels. The State government took this initiative after some of the media channels try to conduct a debate or discussion on some of the controversial issues. The controversial episodes of film critic Kathi Mahesh and Sree Peetham Seer Paripoornananda Swamy are such examples.
