ATMs closed at nights; a report

ATMs in the localities in the outskirts of Hyderabad will remain closed during late nights. This decision was taken by Hyderabad Police, in the wake of increasing number of cyber crimes taking place only from such ATMs. Cyberabad Police officials discussed the issue with officials of various banks. However, not all ATMs, but those in which less than five transactions are taking place in a day, will be shut down between 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily. Customers are requesting the authorities to deter from this move and improve security instead.
