Army chief, Bipin Rawat said that the Indian Army will continue its operations as before, in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that there can be no political interference in Army operations. A month-long ceasefire was declared for Muslims to carry on their Roza and prayers peacefully. But it was noticed that terrorists had violated the ceasefire several times. The Army will resume its operations soon, he said. Earlier, Rawat attended a programme arranged for the injured Army jawans. He said that it the duty of the Army to protect its jawans.
