India Accuses UN Human Rights Chief over Report on Kashmir
India fired on the UN commissioner for human rights, after he called on the Human Rights Council for an international investigation on human right violations in Kashmir and Pak occupied Kashmir. The United Nations issued a 49-page report in this regard, mainly focusing on the violation of human rights in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Individual prejudices was an implicit accusation from India claiming that UN has been biased against the Indian government. UN claimed that having no accountability and no compensation to victims comes under Human Rights Violation.
