Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao has accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of indulging in vote bank politics by distributing Rs 4,000 per acre to farmers in the name of Rythu Bandhu Scheme. He consoled the Dalits and BCs, who were beaten up by cops for questioning the sand mafia, at Nerella village in Thangalapalli mandal in Rajanna-Sircilla district. He flayed the Chief Minister for not consoling the Nerella victims. Hanumantha Rao said Chandrashekar Rao is the first Chief Minister, who directed cops to arrest farmers.
