Shoaib Akhtar calls Salman as friend, tweets on his sentence

Former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has expressed his disappointment over the conviction of Salman Khan in a case of poaching blackbucks. Calling Salman as a friend, the former Rawalpindi express has faulted the punishment of five years in prison and added that it was harsh. He tweeted, 'Really sad to see my friend Salman Khan sentenced for five years, but the law must take its course and we got to respect the decision of the honorable court of India'. 'I still think punishment is too harsh, but my heart goes to his family and fans. I am sure he will be out soon'.
