Discussion- TDP quits NDA and moves 'No-Confidence Motion'

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has walked out of BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over their refusal of a special-category status demand to Andhra Pradesh. TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu told the state Assembly that he took the important decision in the interest of Andhra Pradesh. The ruling TDP in AP has also moved a no-confidence motion against the Modi government alleging that it has not done justice to the people of Andhra Pradesh. The two notices for a no-confidence motion against the BJP led NDA government, moved by the opposition YSRCP and Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP, could not be taken up today by the Lok Sabha and they are likely to be taken on Monday in the Lok Sabha.
