Arun Jaitley's statement over AP Special Status was very disappointing, said AP planning commission vice president Kutumba Rao. Analysing Jaitley's statement of saying, 'special status can't be awarded to please the hurt self respect or emotions of people', he said that it clearly indicates the firm stand of BJP govt's intention of not giving special status to AP. Expressing his opinion, Kutumba Rao said govt can release the funds in the form of grants, if it is really committed to its promises while alleging Jaitley's statement as totally unjustified. He reminded, TDP govt has agreed to centre's assurance of special package with the equivalent benefits of special status.
