Board asks AP to stop using Srisailam and Sagar water
Krishna River Board Management has directed the AP government to stop using Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar water. It is learned that according to the earlier three-member board meeting on January 10, the state should use only 60 tmcs of water where Telangana should use 50 tmcs of water. As on February 26, AP government used 62 tmc water where Telangana used 33.5 tmc water. Executive secretary Parameshwaran has written a letter to AP Engineer-in-Chief in this regard.
