Famous Indian words meaning in Oxford Dictionary

There are several Indian terms that have been proposed to find a place in the eminent English Oxford Dictionary. A number of Indian words have been earlier accepted in the Oxford English dictionary. Here are some of them. 'Aiyo', means expressing distress, regret, or grief; ‘Oh no!’ or ‘Oh dear!, Another word is 'Badmash', that means a dishonest or unprincipled man. Chutney, Pucca, Yaar are other terms that have found a place in the dictionary. Chutney means a spicy condiment of Indian origin, made of fruits or vegetables with vinegar, spices, and sugar.
