Congress Member of Parliament (MP) in Rajya Sabha (RS), K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao, who was suspended from the House for protesting with a placard, said that his party did not disown him. He was sent out of RS after Congress leader of the House, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that his party did not want to intervene in the protest. Later, KVP began his protest at Gandhi Statue. He denied that he was disowned. Meanwhile, another AP member, Subbarami Reddy came out in support of KVP.
