Both TDP and BJP had contested the 2014 elections in an alliance but relations between the two parties in Andhra Pradesh have turned soured as the TDP felt that the Centre, after the bifurcation of the state in 2014, neglected the state making it reel under huge revenue deficit. The Union Budget 2018-19 presented on Thursday also has disappointed the TDP in the state. Rajya Sabha member TG Venkatesh said that the important meeting on Sunday would clear the air on the alliance issue. On the other hand, in Telangana, the political war has begun between the TS-PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy and Telangana IT Minister KTR over their parties political win in the upcoming General Election 2019 and the impact of the challenges that have been thrown against each other.
