Huge response for international sweet festival at Parade Grounds; Sankranthri

Crowds, including women and children, could not take their eyes off the hundreds of varieties of sweets that were displayed as part of international sweet festival, at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad. Sweets from other states in the country as well as from abroad were showcased in the festival. The visitors said that it was a pleasure to see so many varieties of sweets at one place and tasted some of them. Member of Parliament (MP) Bibi Patel said that sweets from at least 25 countries found a place in the display, in this one of a kind show.
