TDP, YSRCP leaders fight at Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru; Rajahmahendravaram
Tension prevailed for a while at Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru programme when activists of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSRCP clashed. The programme was organised at Kothapet village near Rajahmahendravaram, in West Godavari district. Meanwhile, Kothapeta YSRCP legislator Jaggireddy and his followers were passing that way. The party activists raised slogans like 'Jai Jaggireddy.' This provoked TDP Kothapeta unit chairman, Bandaru Satyanandam, who along with the party activists opposed Jaggireddy. This led to a verbal duel and fisticuffs, where both the parties threw chairs at each other. Police intervened and dispersed the mobs.
