The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a new design of chocolate brown ten rupee note. The main differences between the new and existing notes are that new notes have the same height as the current ten rupee note but the width will be slightly lesser than the width of the existing note. The reverse of the note will carry a motif of the Konark Sun Temple, whereas the existing ten rupee notes have been carrying the image of the rhinoceros, elephant and tiger. RBI had recently introduced the new Rs 200 and Rs 50 notes.
