SBI changes names, IFSC codes of 1,300 branches in Major cities, including Hyderabad

In a significant development, India’s largest lender State Bank of India has changed the names and IFSC codes of its 1,300 branches located in major cities such as Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Lucknow, among others. The decision comes in wake after five of its associate banks have come under one organisation. The news is very important for the people who make online transactions. SBI took this step as the bank is restructuring its entire system following the merger of its five associates.
