Tension grips Ramachandrapuram after YSRCP leader Jakkampudi Raja’s arrest
YSRCP leader Jakkampudi Raja arrest has created tension in Ramchandrapuram. The party gave town bandh call on Monday protesting the manhandling of Raja by SI Nagaraju. The SI asked Raja to remove his car parked beside a road at Majid Centre. The YSRCP leaders alleged that SI spoke rudely with Raja and arrested him. Jakkampudi Vijayalakshmi came to the police station along with YSRCP workers. But, the police did not allow her inside the police station. Local MLA Thota Trimurthulu took Vijayalakshmi into police station. It was learnt that the SP gave charge memo to SI and assured of YSRCP leaders ordering a probe.
