Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan Likely To Get Nobel Prize In Economics
Clarivate Analytics, a company has named the former Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor Raghuram Rajan as one of the six economists on the list of probable Nobel Prize for economics winners. His entry does not mean that Raghuram Rajan is the front-runner for the coveted award. He has a chance to win the award. Rajan was appointed RBI governor by the previous United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government in 2013 and presently he is the Katherine Dusak Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago.
