Humans have 27 different types of emotions, according to science
Scientists from California have recently revealed that 27 distinct types of emotions, apart from the categories of happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, fear, and disgust have been reported by their study. For the study, diverse group of 853 men and women went online and the emotional states that underlie moods, brain activity, and expressive signals have been captured. 5- to-10-second videos have been shown to them to evoke a broad range of emotions. The videos included births and babies, weddings, death, suffering, spiders, snakes, risky stunts, natural disasters etc.
