A nine-member National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) team is visiting Osmania University (OU). They will be here for three days and inspect the entire university, including its affiliated colleges, before grading it. Later, depending on the grading, the Centre will give funds to the University. OU authorities submitted reports to NAAC, only upto 2013. Later, there was a gap of two years before the process was resumed in 2016, by present Vice Chancellor Ramachandran. It is expected that NAAC will upgrade the university to A++ from A grade.
