Andhra Pradesh (AP) government has approved the designs of Norman Foster, for state capital city, Amaravati. Explaining the designs, Minister Narayana said that 50 per cent of the capital will be covered with greenery, with River Krishna passing through. It is being built as a 'Symbol of Pride,' he said. The city will be interspersed with commercial complexes, for vibrancy. The construction will begin somewhere after October 15th,after the formalities. It is aimed to complete the construction within two years, he said.
