Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentary party is meeting in Delhi presently and is likely to suggest the name of Party former president, L.K.Advani as the candidate for President of India. Modi has just reached the meeting. A three-member committee of the party had consulted allies and Opposition Congress over likelihood of a consensus. But they failed. They insisted on the selection of a candidate first. In all likelihood, Advani's name might ring the wrong note among Opposition parties, it is opined. However, it will be known soon, who BJP's Presidential candidate would be.
