Government’s cyber security arm CERT-In has alerted all Banks against the latest cyber attack that has infected thousands of systems globally. A new ransomware named 'Wannacry' is spreading globally that encrypts files on the infected Windows PCs. RBI has instructed all the Banks to update the Windows to avoid this malware affecting the system. According to the reports, nearly 100 countries, including India, were hit by the massive cyber attack.On the other hand, security firms have suggested that users immediately disconnect the infected device from the local network.
