IAS officer caught by CBI; taking Rs. 2 crores bribe
A 1992 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, B.B.Rajendra Prasad, was caught by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials, for taking a bribe of Rs. 2 crores. The Mumbai Income Tax (IT) appeals Division officer, has already taken Rs. 1 crore from a realtor, for giving him permissions. On a complaint, alert CBI officials, caught him take another Rs. 19.35 lakhs today. They took him in t custody and brought him to special courts for CBI cases, in Visakhapatnam. Cases have been booked against six others in this connection.
