Modi unveils stamp on Saint Ramanujacharya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the stamp on Saint Ramanujacharya, at New Delhi. Governor Narsinhan, Union minister Venkaiah Naiud and Chinna Jeer Swamy, were present on the occasion. About Ramanujacharya, Modi said that he saw all devotees as equals. Even though people accepted their positions in life, as some low and some high, Ramanujacharya said that such distinctions do not exist among mankind. He saw God in every human being, Modi said. It is Saint Ramanujacharya's 1,000th Jayanthi today. He was the most important exponent of Sri Vaishnavism.
