At least 38 Indians have been detained for VISA breach, during factory raids by immigration officials, in United Kingdom (UK). There were nine women among those detained. They were also charged with overstaying. Raids were conducted in two clothing factories, in Leicester. Some seven out of the 38 had entered the country illegally, it is said. This is seen as a massive jolt for India, which is facing tightening of VISA norms all over the world. This the first of the kind that has gone public.
