GHMC to Introduce Drinking Water ATMs; Any Time Water for Rupee.1 in Hyderabad

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC) has been working on the noble idea of providing water ATMs in the Hyderabad City. The water ATM would provide purified 1-litre drinking water at a cost of Rs 1. Modelled on the lines of cash-dispensing automated teller machines (ATMs) of banks and encouraged by Rs 5 meal scheme, the GHMC has been planning team members to send to places like Pune, Ghaziabad, Delhi, where such system is running. Hopefully, the provision of chilled potable water by Water ATMs will soon be implemented.
