Sasikala in danger of losing AIADMK Chief post

VK Sasikala, the interim General Secretary of AIADMK is likely to face the political restriction from the Election Commission of India. Following a petition moved by the group of O Panneerselvam group against Sasikala to the Election Commission, it requested EC to declare V K Sasikala's election as party general secretary 'null and void' on the ground that she did not fulfil the eligibility criteria of continuous membership of the party for five years, as she has been expelled between December 2011 and March 2012. On the other hand, Sasikala group is reportedly working on the legal aspect of the petition.
